While I am glad that our old house is finally on the market (today as a matter of fact!), I am totally tuckered out! Allow me to vent, if you will...
Monday our entire family spent the day at the old house. The kids helped a bit inside and then had a lot of fun pulling weeds outside and cleaning the patio. We gave our neighbors the swingset Nathan and a friend built so they offered for the kiddos to play on that whenever we were at the house...so they had a blast on that. While the kids were keeping busy I went between cleaning, compiling to-do's for the next day and nursing baby. My mom, bless her heart, cleaned the fridge out and cleaned the bathrooms. Nathan put countertop in and several other manly things that us girlie girls couldn't do. Then Tuesday Vacation Bible school -- Survivor Camp-- began at church. I couldn't help out due to a nursing baby so mom and I camped out with Eli and Abigail. Tuesday morning I went to my 6 week checkup -- all is well. Then after lunch Nathan, Abby, and I went to the old house and worked like crazy. Wednesday after dropping off the Survivor Camp gang at church Mom, me, and the two littles went to the old house and worked like crazy. Then we went back to church, gathered Nathan and the gang, ate lunch, and then Nathan, Abby, and I worked at the old house. Both nights we got back after 7, unloaded stuff from the van, and ate late dinners. Today Mom, me, and the littles went grocery shopping, to get mom's haircut, to a nice consignment shop (got the girls some nice summer dresses), and then to get the church gang. After lunch...I - took - a - nap!!! Thank heaven for mom's who get it! She let me take a nice long nap! I feel refreshed and ready to tackle my clutter that has accumulated over the course of the week. How was your week?
P.S. I don't know who that is in the picture...found it online and it made me laugh!
